Doolittle is not only one of the Pixies’ albums, but also a print magazine and a website followed by many people. One problem: the web version is quite dated and the back office is particularly complicated.
Aims: first, keeping the codes of print magazine for the editorial content (hierarchization of articles, front page articles, creation of sections) in order to offer more contents accessible via a simple and intuitive navigation.
Then, creating a specific section devoted to the new events unit of the magazine (creation of a calendar module that lists the upcoming and past events).
Finally, creating an e-shop to manage the subscriptions and the products deriving from their collaborations.
A bonus on top of the cake: as the magazine’s look constantly evolves, the website itself is upgradeable.
And, of course, it is also responsive.
